Meet Our Leadership Team
Bob Moore
Bob Moore is a lifelong entrepreneur and tinkerer with a passion for whole grain nutrition. In 1978, after a long career that included owning several gas stations, managing a JC Penney Auto Center and opening Moore’s Flour Mill with his sons, he and his wife, Charlee Moore, founded Bob’s Red Mill with the mission of Inspiring Joy with Wholesome Foods™. After succeeding beyond his wildest dreams, he established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan in 2010. Because of his foresight and generosity, we are now 100% employee owned.
Why did you choose Bob’s Red Mill?
When I look back, I strongly feel like it chose me. When my wife, Charlee, introduced us to whole grain foods at home, it lit a fire in me that’s never gone out, spurring me to educate myself about traditional stone milling techniques, and it created a path for my life that I’ve followed ever since.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
To create the greatest success, make sure you reward and respect the people who helped get you there in the first place.

It’s no secret that I enjoy a bowl of whole grain oatmeal almost every morning. To my mind, there’s no better way to start the day!
